Sydney Working Equitation (SWEQ) Club is delighted to be invited by GEC to host an introductory day in Working Equitation (WEQ).
On Sunday 11th May we will be running a Working Equitation Mocktition.
What is a Mocktition?
It is SWEQ's fun term to describe a practice competition where everyone can have a go at a WEQ Dressage test and do an obstacle course (called the Ease of Handling Phase) and then ride the obstacle course a bit faster (called the Speed Phase). There will be helpers in the warm up areas to give you assistance on your dressage test (you are allowed callers) and also in the obstacle warm up. If any obstacle is too daunting just ride around it! There will be judges providing feedback on the test sheets, but no scoring or places.
The day is about having fun and giving WEQ a go.…
